just an example of the names that they choose: Talula does the Hula, Bus Shelter, Violence, Fish and Chips, Yeah Detroit, Keenan Got Lucy, Sex Fruit ,and tragically.

Seriously? Wow... And I thought my name was bad. I had to change it to Nix Gaunt Lestrange so people wouldn't laugh at me on the internet! But wow!





My name is really weird, even where I come from. I had to repeat it five times once, then I just gave up after having screamed it at the woman who was asking me for it. I had to write it down for her. I love my dad, but come on! I mean, sure you can change it later, but it's not that easy to just change your identity. What do you tell your friends and people close to you, or worse, people you don't know that well, but whom you have to deal with on a dayly basis! You have to reintroduce yourself to them!





A tip to parents who might be reading this: before you consider any name, think about this. Your children will forgive you for not letting them go out with their friends or for grounding them, or for whatever disciplinary measures you may take with them. But their names will be for them until you're shriveled and dried up, and on life support, and it's up to them whether or not to leave you plugged in!

very well and good to say well they can changed them when their older but in the meantime during their young years where every little slight and pimple is a MAJOR crisis this


can really hurt and warp a child's outlook. I think the government should have the right not to allow idiot parents to name their children stupid names. And by the way I am not referring to tribal. aboriginal or cultural names. It is not


a parents' right to mentally abuse a child by naming them something outlandish. It is the child's right to dignity that is


more important here.

but its just a name. it can be changed when they're older or just lie. like "K" did,.
Reply:Oh, give me a break. It's not just New Zealanders. People all over the WORLD have attempted to give kids weird names. We Americans are amongst the worst in this respect.
