My first name is Lode(pronounced low-dee).Lots of people I've met say it's very unusual.

Ghislaine. There are many people taht have the same name, but I just don't know them, so to me it's a kinda rare name.

second, my name is so common. Not as common as ashley, brittney, stephanie, you get it, but when I was named, it was more common. I guess these days you don't see it as much, because everyone names their kids different on purpose so they don't have common names, then that name becomes a trend and everyone gets it!, Like Kaiden, Aiden, Jaden, Gracie, Emma and whole slew of other names that we really didnt hear (or that were considered dated) until oh 5-7 years ago, now they are everywhere. My nephew is Kaiden and has 3 other kaidens on his tball team, our town has less than 1000 ppl...common, common common

in fact i worked with someone with the same name spelled the same way, i lost a finger at work because of this person. omg, that was a weird situation, the osha people got the paperwork and thought i did it to myself so they didnt pay up at first. grrrrrrrr
