Can you name me unusual fruit and veg?

i need five unusual fruit and vegtables please

Can you name me unusual fruit and veg?
Mooli - it's a long chinese radish


Eddoe - also called Dasheen


Salsify - also called black oyster plant


Samphire - a seaweed used as a veg


Okra - also called Ladies Fingers or Bindi - gelatinous whin cooked





Fruit:


Durian - nice taste but stinks!


Sharron Fruit like a big flattish orange tomato


Cape gooseberry small golden fruit in a paper 'lantern' covering


Custard apple - just that!


Amarula small honey-sweet African fruit

Durian (supposed to taste great, but smells like rotting compost)





Prickly pear (actually from a sort of cactus)





Plantain (like a large banana, used for savoury dishes, rather than sweet)

Marrow never seems to be used any more


Redcurrants are in shops now


Celeriac - have no idea what to do with it though

Reply:Yeah, a "Sharoni". It is a fuit. It is really a mix. It was created in Israel. It is a mix between an apple and a sharon fruit. I really love them!
