Reply:Well my name is Fallan and I agree with you, when I was a kid I hated it! Still kind of do! Nobody can pronounce it and when people ask my name I end up telling them about a zillion times until I just give up! My sisters name is Kalee (pronounced KayLee) and back when we were kids it was unusual.
Reply:We don't really have any unusual names. When my cousin named his daughter Kira in the 1980s the whole family thought it was strange. My family is full of traditional names on all sides - lots of Georges, Elizabeths, Catherines, Henrys, etc.

Reply:My family doesn't have a lot of unusual names, the closest to unusual are Krista (Me), Trenton, Cory, and Preston. We mostly have popular names. (Ryan, Kyle, Sophia, Amanda, Ava, Hunter)
