What is the psychology behind celebrities giving their kids unusual names?

Celebrites often give their kids unusual names such as Apple, Honor, Suri, Tu, etc.

Do you think they have much higher self-esteem? Because most people would feel shy to come up with names like that? They wouldn't have the confidence to come out and say "I named my baby Apple."

What do you think?

What is the psychology behind celebrities giving their kids unusual names?
It's not self-esteem, it's a desire to attract attention. I feel sorry for kids with weirdo names that they will have to carry all their lives just because Mummy and Daddy wanted to make a point or get attention.

It's not about being shy. It's about realising the kid has to live with the name you give it, and that your child is a PERSON, not a toy or a trophy or a validation of yourself as a human being.
Reply:in some cases, i think they do it to be like, hey i can name my baby whatever, and im famous so no one will care.

in others i think they do it for their baby to be unique, and they think its fine because their fame will help theyre baby, so it wont be criticized.

in otherssss, i think they do it for attention. like look at the headlines, A new born baby, Apple.
Reply:I don't think there is any way to make since of the names these people name their kids. I think they are just looking for something out of the normal so that their kids stand out from all the other celebrity kids.
Reply:I have used several of their programs, most have rocked, some didnt -- so overall, I say that they are safe to do business with and have good programs.
