The most important thing to me when it comes to name websites is the accuracy of the information. There are many websites that list unusual names, but more often then not they have inaccurate and unreliable information regarding the meaning, origin and pronunciation of the name.





The best site to discover the meaning of names is Behind the Name. Here is the link: http://www.behindthename.com/ When the site doesn't list the name you want, you can usually find a user submitted entry that may give you a fair idea of the history and etymology of the name.





The other naming sites that I trust are BabyNamer and Think Baby Names, although these are not always completely accurate (particularly the latter).
