I need some ideas for a unusual girls name for my unborn baby?

I need some ideas for a unusual girls name for my unborn baby?

Be careful choosing a name that you think is unusual, as it may not actually be so unusual these days. Check this site: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/ to see just how popular the name is or has been recently. You may be surprised to see odd names like Nevaeh and Ava and Jaylin as top 100 names!

Here's another site for you to check out while searching for your baby's name: http://wiki.name.com/en/WELCOME Whereas most baby name websites feature only short descriptions of the meaning or origin, this website has detailed articles about each name. It's not complete, but there are a lot of names, and it might be a good source for you!

Its great to pick an unusual first name and then give them a simple middle name, something like ur mothers first or middle name or grandmothers name. I gave my daughter the name Kayci Lynn,... Lynn being my mothers middle name, and now she actually favors my daughter bc she is named after her... best of luck to ya!!!; )
Reply:Why do you need an "unusual" name?

How about this for unusual (these days, anyway):

Pick a name that is MEANINGFUL. Use this incredible opportunity to honor someone who is special to you. Father? mother? Grandmother? Special friend?

Don't waste this opportunity on something as shallow as wanting to be "unusual".

Well, at least you're not just interested in what's "popular".
