What is the "funniest", the "cutest" or most unusual name you've ever heard for a dog?

We had friends who had 1 male and 1 female dog when I was young. Their cute names were "Harry and Ethel"........both dachshunds.

:oP

What is the "funniest", the "cutest" or most unusual name you've ever heard for a dog?
I met a little Chihuahua named Squeakachew.
Reply:That's cute!! Being a dog groomer, I have heard some really cute and creative names. SOme that I can remember:

a miniature poodle named "Killer". It was the sweetest white poodle, but I think the owners named him that because of his hideous under-bite that made him look mean.

a schnauzer named "Super"....the family's last name was "Fishel"....when you put it together....the dogs full name was Superficial!!

a newfie named "Mercedes Bones"

A big black lab named "Tonka"

A standard poodle named "Lego"

There are so many others...but I can't think of them right now. I love hearing creative names.
Reply:My grandma named hers Beauregard Sugarpuss. How horrible is that??

I've also heard of Dog being their name, and a cute one would be Maximillion! That's a friend's dog's name ;] Of course, Max for short!

My uncle named one of his dog's Opie. Why? Because when they got him he wasn't house trained so they would look down at him and go, "Oh, pee!" So they thought Opie fit him well! I think that one is funny and cute! Plus unusual!

Lol I love dog names!
Reply:i called one of my dogs 'defor' standing for d for dog. i thought it was cute and funny and he didn't care. heard of someone once who called theirs 'kitty' i reckon that's funny, nearly as bad as calling it puss.

guess if you had a male and female you could call them mister and missus, or master and miss, gent and lady, or even him and her and what about he and she. try calling some of them aloud and you will realise how funny they are.

have fun.
Reply:Rascal.

my old man, bless his soul, named our first family dog Rascal, the "accidental" offspring of a german shepherd and a dachshund.

that may not sound unimaginative to your ears but in Manila, 'askal' is street slang for "aso'ng kalye", which means stray dog or literally, 'dog of the streets'.

as a kid in the 70s i thought it was the coolest dog name i ever heard. i only realized it was way cooler when i grew old enough to figure out its origin %26amp; real meaning hehe

x )
