Me: Thundor

Yup, that's right. Thundor. Change the ending and you have, "a loud, explosive, resounding noise produced by the explosive expansion of air heated by a lightning discharge*"...also known as: thunder.

Yes, Wideline.

You're supposed to say it like "Wid-uh-lean". I don't understand how her mother could be so oblivious to the fact that it clearly spells "wide line". Its ridiculous. I'm sure shes embarrassed by it, becuase everyone calls her Woody.
Reply:Look at the question before yours.
Reply:Pajamas pronounced Pa-ja-mous
Reply:my dad was going to name me Palegera (pa-leg-ra) not the desize(sp?) or even like Aziah(Asia)
Reply:Good unusual -Talitha. From a very religious family. They said it's from the bible, when Jesus brought a girl back to life, and he said "talitha cumay". Talitha means "little girl" in Aramaic, apparently. I'm not really into the whole religion thing, or random words from other languages, but it sounds very pretty, and it had a lot of meaning to them

Bad unusual: Christolonne -boy. All of his siblings had names that started with "Christ" to show their devotion: Christopher (b), Christine (g), Christa (g), Christelle (g), Christian (b), Christobal (b), Christmas (b), Christaline (g), Christiana (g), and Christivanne (b). He was the seventh of eleven kids, I don't remember the order of the siblings. They're all pretty bad after Christine for girls, and Christian for boys. Plus, just a horrific sib set!

Ugly unusual: Quann'doahlaysiah. Unpronounciable, crazy looking, and just freaky. She was on Judge Judy for scalping another little girl with her bare hands. She went by Jazzy, and when Judge Judy asked her her real name, she pulled that one out. I actually paused my DVR and wrote down her name. Then I left it paused and laughed for a good solid minute. Then I turned it back on, and everyone else in the courtroom laughed, even the baliff!

Reply:The most unusual name I've heard suggested thus far:

- Industry.

Edit: Just thought of this -- it's not his first name but my little cousin's middle name is Thor, after the mythical thunder god. His first name is Eric and together it sounds like a total Viking name! I think it's pretty bizarre.
