I know someone who is thinking about naming her baby that. Have you ever heard of it and if you have do you know the meaning? It's pronounced Kayh-lee.
Would "Khalie" be an unusual name to name a baby?
yes i've heard of that name its very common. It means pure, virginal. Thats a good name to name her child.
Reply:no i love that name! its beautiful! :)
Reply:No a friend of mine has a daughter named Nakaila and we call her Khaklie.

Reply:I've heard the name many times by have not seen that spelling.
mb
Reply:unusual yes, cute also
Reply:No, I don't think its that unusual. What's unusual about it is the spelling, which I don't really like to be honest with you. I've heard of a few little girls named Kaylie or Kaylee. Its cute I guess, but I don't know the meaning.
Reply:It's cute.
Reply:I don't think it is that unusual but it is an okay name. I know a few Kaylee's but none are spelled that way.
Reply:I like it! But I'm bias, as you see, my name starts with "Kh...". I haven't a clue what "Khalie" stands for and I personally haven't ever seen it spelled that way.
Just an FYI, I've seen a study that females with a unique name have a higher likelihood of been successful due to girls like the concept of being unique and individual (as long as it doesn't cross the line to strange or weird). Unfortunately, that study finds it just the opposite for males, though.
Reply:I think that is a nice name.
Reply:My boyfriends ex's daughter is named Khalie. I think its gorgeous.
Reply:it is not an unusual name, just an unusual spelling, but not in a bad way. i like it. i know several lil girls named kalie or kaylie, i like the name.
