What unusual name did you call your child, and why?
well my name is Vivien but I was nicknamed Weed when I was very young, by my sisters because of Bill %26amp; Ben,I used to watch it all the time.
Reply:i have no children but my nieces are called thailia, macey and allanah.
Reply:My grandson is Nathan Zephaniah he was named Zephaniah after his great great great grandad who was given the name by the priest at his baptism his parents didn't have a name for him so the priest opened the bible it fell open on Zephaniah so that is what he was called.


The name is so unusual that it has been given as a middle name to the first son in all the following generations.

Reply:It's not particularly unusual, but my daughter's name is Kendall. I named her after my grandfather. Kenneth Dale. Kendall is becomming more and more popular these days, but I still love it!

Reply:I'm pretty settled on Eden Faith for my baby. It was between that and Aubrie Rose. I liked Eden because of the purity of it, you know, like the Garden of Eden in the bible. It sounds unique. I wanted something she wouldn't have to go by Eden G. in a class with 5 other little girls with the same name. Also, I read a book by Anita Shreve called Eden Close about a beautiful woman named Eden.


I wanted a virtue name for her middle name. We originally had Eden Grace picked out, but our last name is Gilbert, so her initials would have been EGG. I couldn't do that, so I chose Faith, because my husband and I always had Faith that we would have a little girl.

Reply:My eldest is called Devonney~Donna I saw Devonney in a book when I was 15 and loved the name and always said that's what I'd call my first daughter...I've kept the book to show her when she's older. Donna in honour of my mum who died before she was born.Her nickname is doll face as she's as beautiful as a porcelain doll.





My youngest is called Delainey~Elise.There was an article on the news and Delainey was mentioned as someones surname and I loved it! Elise is french for Elizabeth which is her great Nana's name.I nicknamed her Laineylicious because she just looks delicious!

Reply:ive used pretty usual names-but i do feel for these kids who have wacky names it can make them or break them-and the worst thing u can do to your child is to give them a popular name but then spell it differently to be trendy-its not trendy its a pain in the a.. all thats child life-every birthday card etc they recieve when their name is not spelt the way they expect-it will p... them off and their parents dont do it pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

Reply:i have 4 children... i dont know how unusual they are, but here they are.... selena is our oldest girl and she's named after the latino singer... our 2nd girl is named amaris(picked by her dad because it is a english name) catalina(her middle name, picked by me for her spanish name)....we have twin boys(william-named after the lead singer of guns-n-roses and cruz- his spanish name.... our 2nd boy(dawson- named after the show dawsons creek and creed- his spanish name).
