My cat is called "Bully" for obvious reasons

Has any one got a unusual name for their pet?
mine are Sparky (obviously very common), Kali, Monkey, Krusty, J, Bob, and Sammy.

my son wanted to name him Licker. Because the first thing he did was lick our hands. I said no way. Can you imagine, Here Licker, Here Licker. Look it Licker puzzy cat. Honest to god it had to be changed.
Reply:my two cats are shinji and asuka, shinji is a big fat female calico and her name is pronounced shin gee, asuka is a tiny grey and white female runt and her name is pronounced aska. those are from the anime neon genesis evangellion. pretty different i thought
Reply:I named my cat after the house elf from the Harry Potter movies. His name is "Dobby."


My reason is that he sleeps with me in my bed, and often sleeps in my bed without me. In the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, we first read about Dobby in one of the earliest chapters of the book: The house elf was sitting on Harry's bed. And in the movie of the same name, he was jumping up and down on the bed near the very beginning of the film. Another connectiong is that Harry Potter helps free Dobby from his terrible master by tricking the master into giving his houseelf a sock. My cat's favorite toy happens to be an old sock. (Must explain why I have to buy more every month or two....)

Reply:My sister gave me a kitten a few years back,and she told me it was a girl. It was a golden color,so I named it Pixidust,well poor Pixi has turned out to be a boy..lol,but we still call him Pixi.

So she was cristened Sienna (she is a tortie...so named her after one of the colors in her furry little coat..Burnt Sienna, decided the Burnt Part was unnecessary though ;)
Reply:We have a dog named Bambi, and another dog who I took to the park the other day to take her for a walk and one of my freinds saw her and said "hey she looks like an oreo!" when her name really is Oreo. And we have a cat named Butch, he's really muscular and manly. He makes lotsa messes.

Reply:I have s cat called "squidge" which is short for "Mr Squidgytummy", also for obvious reasons. He has a posh pedigree name too that I spent ages deciding on but I don't think we ever used it...





Squidge's father is called "Buey" (I have no idea where we got that from!) and whilst his father was still a working stud he was very noisy and we used to keep saying "shut up buey", I felt mortified when he was neutered as he would never come when called Buey but would come running as soon as someone said Shut up! Silly thing thought his name was "shut up"
Reply:My first dog was a pit bull pup named Eunice, after the Carol Burnett character. People seemed to think that was pretty funny. My Pomeranian is named Aspen Rose. My cats are Amber, Azure, Topaz (all for the obvious reason), Greyta, Mitten, Teacup and Tom-Tom.
